About Me

I am an avid learner, observer, and creator, with a passion for understanding the intersection of art, contemporary culture, and digital communications. Born and raised in the suburbs of NYC, and having spent my summers in Europe, I have a natural inclination toward situating the present within the context of our collective history and reconciling colonial legacies. I believe strongly in the symbiotic nature of the arts and educational reform, and I am passionate about improving accessibility and community outreach within artistic institutions.

I believe in the need for social and cultural responsibility among art institutions and my aim as a curator and educator is to present underrepresented histories to broad audiences in an effort to serve the communities in which I reside. I know from experience that these values are what lead to cultural and structural change.

Experience

From public educational institutions to private and corporate collections, I am passionate about using contemporary art as a means of creating social change. As a political organizer, I have run workshops and coordinated programming efforts to educate, advocate, and fundraise. More formally, my experience within the educational departments of both the Montclair Art Museum and the Zimmerli Art Museum has taught me how to effectively develop lesson plans and accessibility initiatives for patrons of all abilities and backgrounds.
